The inaugural South by Deep South will be held September 26th-28th in Birmingham, Alabama.
We’re still working on the number of tracks, but they will include:
That’s right — a full-blown WordCamp, the first we know of to be announced in the Southeastern United States.
Oh… there will be plenty to do, and plenty to see in the evenings, as Birmingham will also be hosting the 10th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival that very weekend. (For those of you from out of town… Sidewalk is getting to be a pretty big deal. Come now so you can brag to your friends about how ‘you knew it when…’)
The second Birmingham BarCamp is coming in less than two weeks. We imagine many of the people interested in BarCamp would be equally interested in South by Deep South.
